Un été relativement tranquille du coté des Bruins, l'équipe n'ayant eu besoin que de faire quelques petits ajouts et transactions mineures pour entourer le noyau de l'équipe qui n'a pas été transformé outre-mesure.
En attaque les ajouts de Tanner Pearson via transaction et de Jesper Fast, Tyler Pitlick et Derek Grant comme agents libres pour ajouter du papier sablé comme dirait l'autre, ne peuvent pas être considérés comme des gros <hits> mais sans grande marge de manoeuvre financière et sans besoin particulier d'ajouter du punch à une attaque déjà bien garnie, c'était les besoins ciblés par l'organisation. Avec les Scheifele, Tavares, Stone, Miller, Laine, Pearson et Tkachuk pour mener la charge, les Bruins peuvent compter cette saison sur une des meilleurs attaques du circuit et nous sommes satisfaits de la production offensive de la plupart des attaquants après ce premier quart de saison.
En défense, peu de changements au noyau principal encore une fois sauf l'entrée en scène du jeune Hronek et l'ajout du jeune John Marino comme agent libre qui amènent de la mobilité à la brigade qui sans avoir de superstar, s'avère polyvalente et fiable depuis le début de la saison comme on peut le constater de par la production offensive très bien répartie parmi les arrières et la stabilité défensive de tous les duos.
Après trois coupes en quatre ans, l'équipe maintient ses standards d'excellence et sera encore un <contender> cette saison.
Gagner des championnats impose de sacrifier quelques jeunes au passage pour se maintenir au sommet et cet été beaucoup d'efforts ont été mis pour rebatir la relève à plus long terme de l'organisation. L'équipe est dans son <prime> avec peu de mauvais contrats et un solide noyau à moyen terme et nous sommes très satisfaits de l'ajout de plusieurs jeunes via le repêchage et comme agents libres qui nous espérons, assureront l'avenir de l'équipe pour plusieurs années car il n'est pas question d'un <reset> ou <rebuild> ou whatever quel autre terme de loser, cette organisation doit rester en haut sans passer par une reconstruction.
Les signatures de Joel Kiviranta, Erik Foley, Lean Bergmann, Pius Suter et Drew O'Connor en attaque et de Jeremy Davies, Connor Mackey et Artem Zub en défense pourraient devenir de belles prises qui n'auront rien coûté à l'organisation en plus d'un repêchage bien garni de joueurs réclamés dans les deux premières rondes avec Jacob Perreault, Yegor Chynakhov, Noel Gunler, Thomas Bordeleau, Brock Faber, Emil Heineman et Roni Hirvonen. Avec les Tracey, Brink, Hague, Heinola, Addison, Barratt, Oettinger, Wall, Woll, Spence et Mastrosimone qui progressent bien dans l'organisation, il est permis de croire que les gros Bruns seront encore dans votre face pour plusieurs saisons !
