Trônant au top du power ranking cette semaine avec une fiche de 8 victoires 2 défaites les Rangers sont méconnaissables avec 42 buts pour et 25 buts contre dans ses derniers matchs. Ils se sont payés le Wild, les Jets et les Islanders tour à tour avec des victoires décisives marquant 5 buts et plus. On sait déjà que Jamie Benn, Érik Jonhson et Brock Nelson seront protégés dû à leurs clauses respectives et on peut déjà prédire qu'Andre Burakovsky, Frank Vatrano, Josh Anderson, Conor Garland, Thomas Chabot et Carter Hart seront protégés. On a toujours pas de nouvelles pour Ryan Nugent Hopkins qui a été dans les rumeurs d'échanges jusqu'à la fin du trade deadline. Selon le Dg, on avance dans les négociations mais il doit se concentré sur son jeu.

Il y a des jeunes qui frappent aux portes de la grande ligue dont Gabriel Vilardi et Janne Kuokkanen et qui peuvent jouer au centre à bas prix. Glass, qui lui aussi doit renégocier, sera appelé à jouer un plus grand rôle l'an prochain dans l'équipe. On peut aussi estimer que Smith, Rantta quitteront pour d'autres cieux. Si Glass est protégé, On laisse Cal Clutterbuck, Nick Paul, Caleb Jones et le beau problème nommé....Tony DeAngelo disponible pour gonfler les rangs de Seattle.
Par ailleurs, on entends parler par les branhes les prouesses de Seth Jarvis, 13ieme total 2020 qui pourrait entrer en AHL dès l'an prochain. Il y aussi le suprenant Jonh Leonard, 186ieme 2018, pourrait garnir les rangs du Wolfpack.
Donc du côté des Rangers de New York , on se concentre sur le présent........ en se permettant de rêver au futur.
